I understand how you feel. Some...nice post, Marnix. I understand how you feel. Sometimes you think of how perfect these friends are, how good they are at being there when you need them, how good they are at understanding your needs and help you feel better, just like 'normal' RL friends would be. But then the conclusion is... they don't know you anyway because they don't know WHO you are. Are RL details really important at some stage? I'd say yes. It depends on your own perspective and interpretation of SL. Some people say SL doesn't need RL info at all, 'cause that would be considered as cheating. They just don't know how good it feels to show your true self to someone, while still being able to play the game the same way you did before.
And 'things that may come to light in RL', they 're a risk, i know, but it's worth taking it once you really trust the person. Just keep yourself away from psychos, lol.

ciao!
(and yes Banana, WTF is your fave ice-cream? it's driving me crazy. How come I don't know ittttttt)Definitely Gibbshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04487686982545286210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7749768157625276291.post-82739549224965885762010-03-11T19:14:34.043+13:002010-03-11T19:14:34.043+13:00I'm flattered that you like me in IceCream.
I...I'm flattered that you like me in IceCream.

I hear what youre saying. I have a line. Its big and bold. However, I let people past it, every now and again. People have to earn certain info... like knowing my fave ice-cream. That stuff doesnt just get blurted out willy-nilly...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
